What we built

An agent that reads each incoming order, matches it against the ERP, and confirms the ones that agree. Anything that does not match is flagged with the specific discrepancy attached, so a person spends five minutes on a decision instead of two hours on a reconciliation.

What changed

Thirty-eight hours a week came back to the team, and the order errors that used to slip through during busy periods stopped appearing. Both people stayed; their week now goes to supplier relationships and the exceptions the agent escalates.
